Busch Valentine Releases New Ethics Plan

On Tuesday morning Trudy Busch Valentine announced her new ethics policy, “Nobody’s Senator But Yours.”
Once again, she has made her drive for helping the people.
Valentine claims that she ran for office because “Washington is broken,” and she has been eager to put career politics aside in order to help working families. She has also been very vocal about the unethical nature of lobbying and how it enables career politicians to run for personal and financial gain. The funneling of corporate funds toward our government has taken away the sincere intention to serve the people.
She released her personal government ethics statement where she also claims that her running opponent, Eric Schmitt, is quite aware of his potential financial gains and perks coming into Washington. Schmitt has taken thousands of dollars, gifts, and gestures from Missouri lobbyists. How do we know Schmitt’s true intention running for office while he’s reaping the benefits that, as Valentine said, “work against Missourians.”
Valentine announced that in the Senate she will work towards a ban on lobbyists in Congress and corporate PACs from “flooding our political system with special interest money.”
Valentine is tired of seeing the productivity in Washington reach an all-time low, and she is here because she wants to help YOU.
