Valentine Checking in as Election Day Approaches

As November 8th approaches, Trudy Busch Valentine has been continuing to connect with her audience before the big election day. In less than a week, Valentine could take office and create change that we’ve been waiting for. She has truly spent so much of her time paying attention to her supporters online and offline. As a candidate who is not a career politician, we love to see how she has built her demographic and advertised herself with the people she wants to help.

Valentine has had a busy week traveling and engaging with her demographic. This morning, Valentine sent out a post:

“With just six days until election day, I’m traveling around and connecting with as many voters as I can. Listening to people’s stories, their hopes, their dreams, and concerns, has been the most fulfilling part of this campaign.”

Her career as a nurse has given her a first hand look at how important it is to interact with people to show support and sincerely give them hope with their stories. A few days ago she sent out another post showing her support for small businesses:

While Valentine is known for her fortunate upbringing as a “beer heiress,” this does not undermine the fact that she has worked hard to get where she is at. She knows that some of her audience feels like her upbringing will cause skepticism, “but she has chosen a life of service”.

She’s traveling to many organizations to have many conversations with her supporters and encouraging them to vote and instilling hope for their futures. As a nurse, she understands how important this engagement is to building a platform.

Tomorrow, Valentine is hosting a rally in St. Louis at Bevo Hill in order to encourage people to get out and vote. She knows how important this election is for her as a new candidate, and it’s important that we show her our gratitude for her efforts by voting!
