Missourians, as our election for Senate approaches, we would like to welcome you to our new blog. Valentine4Senate is a blog created by students as an assignment for Truman State University’s Political Communication course. We’re here to advocate for Trudy Busch Valentine and share content surrounding her campaign.
Busch Valentine is the democratic nominee running for Missouri Senate. She has a strong upbringing in nursing and community service, and she brings that into her campaign with her focus on healthcare initiatives. We believe that her drive and integrity will provide the best representation for Missouri.
Additionally, we’d like to introduce ourselves. Ashtyn Rouland is a senior political science and international relations major at Truman State University with minors in political
communication and public administration. After college, she plans on pursuing a career within the field of international security policy and intelligence. Colleen O’Reilly is a sophomore at Truman State University pursuing a degree in Political Science and International Relations, with minors in Political Communication and Environmental Studies. After college, Colleen hopes to become further involved in the political sphere by working on campaigns or for a non-profit organization. Karsen Mauney is a senior Communication major with an emphasis in Communication Studies, and she plans on entering the field of Human Resources after graduation.
